Starting on Good Friday, 7th April, I will be hiding over £45,000 worth of art across the city of Portsmouth, covering the north, south, east and west of Portsea Island.
I will be dropping a third of the work each day and will be working with organisations across the city to help maximise the impact of the event to the local economy.
Items will be dropped at a different times across the 72 hour period.
Clues to the locations of the artworks will be shared via my stories using the hashtag #MDSfindit.
The treasure is a combination of a small number of very high value items, a generous amount of mid-price items and a large number of collectible items with plenty of opportunities for people to find something.
The list of prizes includes:
3 x Original hand-painted cans
10 x Hand-painted original Everyman paintings
20 x Hand-painted pebbles
40 x Hand-drawn tags
60 x Exclusive limited edition signed prints (only available via the treasure hunt)
2000 x Beer mats
600 x Specially minted My Dog Sighs coins which will also only be available via the treasure hunt.
Plus a few extra surprises to be announced.
If you’re spotted showing your love of mds (time to pull out that mds t shirt or wear your pin badges) there will also be a number of ‘spotters’ across the city giving out goodies.
I’ll also be opening up the studio for people to visit.
This is a free event open to all.
